In addition to the zebra-striped lines on the top of the chart, the colors are used to indicate the positions of the planets, signs, and constellations on the sky.
It is important to understand that astrology does not always match the physical world, which is why the chart is designed to make it easier to use.
The chart below uses the same basic lines and colors as the zogoscope.
The zodiac is in red and the planets in green, which indicate their positions relative to the stars.

There are other online sources as well, including this one, but these charts are usually much more detailed and less prone to errors.
